Offering practical strategies and solutions to manage your teen’s behaviour.

Hi, my name's Haley...

I’m a qualified Social Worker, wife to Tim, mum of three boys and a country girl from regional NSW. In my 13-year career working directly with teens, I’ve met hundreds of mums countrywide who have one major thing in common.

They’re struggling to manage their teenagers and, when seeking help, their support network is extremely limited.

I have personally been impacted by family members who have struggled with low self-esteem, behavioural issues at school and misunderstood diagnosis.  I've seen people I love struggle with not having the support they need. I believe mothers deserve access to the kind of tools that will enable them to better support their children, nurture them and help them grow.

That’s why I do what I do – and that’s why I’ve designed this service to support mums. I want to provide you with real-world, practical support so you’re well-armed to build strong family relationships, so you feel heard, understood and a sense of relief. With the right tools in place, a clear path outlined and plans at your fingertips for potential future scenarios, you’ll feel confident to manage the ongoing challenges that often arise in teen years.

My career so far...

For the past four years I’ve been proud to work as the Wellbeing Manager at BackTrack Youth Works – an organisation that helps young people who have lost their way to reconnect with education and training, become work ready and secure meaningful employment.

My role there sees me develop, implement, monitor and review individual care plans that reflect the hopes and dreams of young people, while also managing and maintaining holistic physical and emotional wellbeing.

I also regularly collaborate with families, parents and carers to support each young person’s individual personal development and enable them to take greater responsibility in their own lives. At times, this included crisis intervention.

Prior to BackTrack, I worked as a social worker at the Department of Human Services – Centrelink for six years. Here I provided support and counselling to young, vulnerable people, clients at risk of harm and those experiencing family and domestic violence.

Behaviour Support Program

I’ve developed a support service that will empower mums by providing a set of tools, a support network, and all the knowledge you need to tackle the most challenging times with your teens. What’s more, my small group settings offer a community of likeminded women facing similar challenges, so we can share our stories, workshop tools and strategies and build stronger relationships with our teens, together.

What you’ll receive:

  • Access to our small support group of five (maximum).

  • One group call per week.

  • Short, top tips videos on-hand for viewing in your own time.

  • Around the clock email support (12-hour response time).

  • Access to our private Facebook support community, directly monitored and supported by me.

  • Six-week commitment.

One-on-one support

Sometimes, even a small group setting can be overwhelming. Sometimes, it can feel like you’ve lost all control, your energy levels are depleted and, ultimately, desperation kicks in. Please know you are not alone, I’m here to offer one-on-one support for those incredibly challenging times. One-on-one is also a great option if both mum and dad would like to seek support outside of the group program. So please reach out and let’s talk.

Lets talk...

You don’t have to do this alone. Whenever you’re ready to talk, I’m here to listen. You can book an initial phone consult online through my booking system or drop me an email.
